Quick Reference Moving Regulations
1. Notice of Move  
Contact the Management Company, at least five (5) business days before the date that you wish to move, in order to schedule a date and time for a move-in or move-out.  It is preferable to give more than 5 business days notice whenever possible See # 6 below.  Moves into or out of a unit may only occur on a date and at a time that is approved by the Management Company. Fines of $100 will be imposed for anyone not observing this rule. 

2. ​Moving Times 
Moves may only occur between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays; no such activities may be carried out on Sundays or Holidays. Other times may be arranged only with prior written permission from the Management Company or the Board.

3.  Non-refundable Fee 
The buyer of a unit shall provide to the Management Company a non-refundable fee in the amount equal to one month's assessment before a move may be scheduled. This fee shall be deposited into the Association's reserve account.

4.  Refundable Moving Deposit 
The buyer of a unit shall also provide the Management Company with an additional $300. deposit that must be received in advance of any move.  This deposit shall be refunded in full, provided there is no damage to any common areas, limited common elements, or Association grounds. In the event there is any damage to any such area, then the cost of the damage will be deducted from the deposit. 

5.  Inspection Request
Any person moving in or out of a unit may submit a written request to the Management Company for an inspection of common areas, limited common elements, or Association grounds that could be damaged in connection with a scheduled move. This request shall be made at least ten (10) days before a scheduled move. 

6.  Elevator Key
Any person moving into or out of a unit should request an elevator key from the Management Company or a member of the Welcoming Committee at least ten (10) days before a scheduled move. Failure to return the elevator key will result in a $50 fine.

7.  Moving and Delivery Vehicles
Moves and deliveries need to be conducted in such a way as to prevent any unnecessary inconvenience to existing residents.  Observe these simple rules:
a.If vehicles are parked outside of a marked parking space, the driver shall display a notice on the dashboard or windshield, which indicates the name of the unit owner and unit number so that the driver can be contacted to move the vehicle.
b.If vehicles are parked near the front door of the building, leave sufficient room so that others may enter and exit the building without difficulty. 
c.If vehicles in the parking lot block access to or from a parking space, then the driver shall remain with the vehicle at all times. 
d.     Delivery vehicles may not be parked inside the garage unless they can clear the garage door and be parked in the new owner's parking space​.  Vehicles in the garage may NOT idle their motors.

8.  Building Security
It is the obligation of the parties moving to maintain the security of the building during the moving process.  At no time during a move shall a door be propped open and then left unattended.

9.  Disposal of Moving and Packing Material
Any boxes, packing materials, or any other garbage shall be properly disposed of after a move. No garbage of any kind from a move shall be left in any common areas. All empty boxes shall be flattened and placed in, behind, or alongside the recycling dumpster in the garage. Bubble wrap and Styrofoam packing material should be placed in the trash dumpster.

10. Disposal of Large Items
Disposal of large items must be pre-arranged with the Management Company and any fees related thereto will be charged to the unit owner. "Large items" shall be considered to be kitchen appliances, furniture, rolls of carpeting, or items of similar size or dimension. Failure to comply with this provision is subject to fines.
